What is the usage difference between... "座", and "坐"
The way I use it. I thought they were just both to sit. How do you use either one and what is there different between the two, 坐 and 座?

坐 is usually used as a verb, mean "sit". e.g. 坐下(sit down), 請坐(please sit)
座 is usually used as a noun, mean a "seat". e.g. 座位(seat), 優先座(priority seat)
one sample sentence to include both words, e.g. 坐在座位上 (to sit on a seat)
