Professional TeacherCan you please explaine the meaning of the word "bronson"
I watched "The Mentalist" and there was an episode when two men wanted to see the video from CCTV:
Rigsby : Yeah, we can send you the warrant. We’re kind of in a hurry here.
Guard : I bet. Must be all kinds of crap flying over this. Your guy really got his BRONSON on, huh? Boom.
Cho : Yeah.
Guard : Wild. Uh, I need to see the warrant first, though. It’s, uh, it’s protocol.
BRONSON is translated into Russian as a GUN does it work in this context?

They probably meant he's channeling Charles Bronson (prisoner) - you can find the guy on wikipedia.
"Channeling Bronson" = "got his Bronson on" = "really acts like Bronson"
Either that or they meant the actor Charles Bronson who was also a tough guy
