A sharp taste in the U.S. or Britain is a taste which is quite acrid (acidic) and/or sour.
Lemons and limes have a sharp taste. Some cheeses, such a cheddar can be described as sharp.

its doesn't have a specific taste. you know our taste buds are sweet, salty,sour and bitter.
sharp taste and strong taste are similar. so it's either the person have strong/sharp taste. meaning having a sensitive taste buds.
