"stone sucker", what it stands for?
A guy always tend to have a relationship with those desperated women,like divorce woman.
His longtime friend said to him: " You are a stone sucker for the damsel in distress."
I google "stone sucker",a kind of fish named it,obviously not fits in here,so could someone help me out?

To be a stone sucker means to be "incurably foolish"
Or to be a sucker for anything means that you are unreasonably moved by something. For example, I'm a sucker for any movie that has Angelina Jolie in it. Even if the movie is horrible.
