Some words , they have a lot similar forms to keep their basic meaning in different parts of speech, as in noun, verb, adj, adv.
You could say something like this instead:
Some words change their form slightly depending on which part of speech they represent. For example: calculate (verb), calculation (noun), calculated (adjective), calculatedly (adverb).
