difference between 替 and 为
My grammar says they both mean "for, on the behalf of", is there any difference between the two?Can you please write down some examples? thank you :)
1. When “替” used as "for, on the behalf of", it has the same meaning with "为"
例如: 我替(或者“为”)你付学费。
2. "替" has another meaning is "replace"
例如: 如果你今天很忙,那我替你去参加这个会议吧。
We must use "替" in this sentence.
