Is the word "precious" the same usage as the "accurate"?

I think you may be getting "precise" confused with "precious".
Precise and accurate can be used similarly, although context would depend which would be better.

No. Not at all.
Precious = valuable, worth a lot, important.
Accurate = precise, correct, a good representation.
