1) ''Yesterday you told me you never write a letter?''
2) ''Yesterday you told me you never wrote a letter?''

Correction in question : Which is the correct sentence ? ( I didn't understand why you have written "By right" there)
"Yesterday you told me (that) you never wrote a letter (?) " is correct
Do you want to say,
"you had not written any letter"
or
"you had never written a letter"

Both are wrong.
Yesterday you told me you never write letters.
Yesterday you told me you never wrote letters.
These two are correct.
