Name for a Company Could you help me to invent an English name for a company that will produce and sell high quality clothes for women. People are supposed to associate it with elegance, chic, style, etc. Thanks.

This sounds like it is an assignment! In English, people like to use clever or witty phrases that have to do with the feeling associated with dressing in a certain way. Often, however, our clothing stores have random names that make little sense. For example: Express. This word means "quick" but does not describe clothing. My mother shops at "Coldwater Creek" which is a geographic location. We also have "Wet Seal," which confuses even me. A British store with a clever name is "Top Shop" - Meaning "the best" and it rhymes. Find a noun that you think is chic and use it. Often, the name of a company in the US has nothing to do with it's actual purpose. Or, you could use an expression like "Talk of the town" or "The Light Fantastic" ( we say "trip the light fantastic) or "Luck be a Lady".

Of course!. My name is Alfonso Gambín and I love the marketing. The ideal name (brand) for any company would to have the next characteristics: 1º. Short. 2º. Easy to read it. 3º. Easy to write it 4º. You would have that you can to register it in office of brand. 5º. It´s better if the brand´s name has relations with your business. 6º. The brand´s name wouldn´t to have negative connotaniones. I hope that my answer can help you. See you
