「一人また一人と」という表現があります。
はじめに一人、少し後でまた一人、また少しあとでまた別の一人・・・という意味です。
人は一人また一人とやってきた。
People came one by one.
でも、「で」でも間違いじゃありません。
人は一人、また一人でやってきた。
A person came, alone again.
