"Do you speak English?" This would be: هَلْ تَتَحَدَّثُ الإِنْجْلِيزِيَّة؟ when asking a woman When you want to ask if the person speaks Arabic, just replace الإِنْجْلِيزِيَّة with الْعَرَبِيَّة .The question would be : هَلْ تَتَحَدَّثُ الْعَرَبِيَّة ؟ (when speaking to a woman) The Answer would be : It means :"Yes,I speak Arabic/English." or It means :"No,I don't speak Arabic/English."

"hal tatahaddath al enklezyia" if you're addressing a male, and "hal tatahaddatheena al enklezyia" if you're addressing a female. Btw "betefham" means "understand", and not "speak". So in Egyptian Arabic we actually say "betetkallem arabi" to a man and "betetkallemi arabi" to a female, we don't necessarily use the pronoun "inta", or "inti", we just drop it. Hope that helps :)
