仕事します。。はたらいています。ちがい何ですか What is the main difference between shigotoshimasu and hataraiteimasu in usage. If somebody ask me "What do you do?" To answer " I am working in Hyderabad." Should I say " Watashiwa shigotoshimasu or watashiwa hataraiteimasu" Which is more natural. Thanks for your help.

I think basically the both are same. In detail there is a correction, like below. 「私はハイデラバードで仕事をしています。(Watashi ha Hyderabad de shigoto wo shiteimasu.)」 「私はハイデラバードで働いています。(Watashi ha Hyderabad de hataraite imasu.)」 Both are natural Japanese sentences.

If you are willing to work, say 「(私が)仕事(を)します」 → "I want to work." or "Let me work." If you are doing work, say 「(私は)はたらいています」 → "I am working."
