Katarina 카타리나
If I write my name, Katarina, in Hangul, which is correct? which of these is more correct? 가 타 리 나 까 타 리 나 카 타 리 나 or would it be something else? Also, if I wrote Katie would it be 개디 or 게디? I'm confused about the long 'a' sound

it is not recommend to write roman spelling to hangul spelling, one by one. just write as it sounds with hangul. in english. 케터리나 in spanish. 까따리이나 in german, 카탈린나. in russian, 까아뜨린나.

Well - "카타리나" is natural, but "까타리나" or "가타리나" can be used. (My mommy's baptismal name is "가타리나" :) ). Note that "가타리나 or 까타라니" is an age-old expression of "카타리나" in Korean. Katie - might be 케이티. Katie Douglas - 케이티 더글라스.
