I think that ё is shortened form of "fuck" that is quite appropriate in the war. Да то оно is shortened Да то-то и оно or ведь то-то и оно. It is colloquialism that means "really", "в самом деле". I like Lyube very much.

I think "да то оно" is used here as a countryside style saying "так оно и есть (на самом деле)" or "actually". I hope it helps.

У меня всегда было ощущение, что эти слова нужны для рифмы =). Я и сейчас так думаю. Смысловой нагрузки нет. "да то оно" - я понятия не имею что это значит =). И такого много в современной эстраде, не пугайтесь =)
