This refers to Carson Daly's TV show on MTV called TOTAL REQUEST LIVE. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Total_Request_Live Old school, in this context, means out of date. Jeremy is saying that Tyler is being old fashioned. Referring to the time when that TV show was in style & popular. Also, Jeremy is saying that Tyler is the type of person to watch that show.
