for example, in this sentence here:
''Please stop sneaking around the house. It makes me nervous!''

If people are sneaking around the house, it means that they are walking very quietly through the house, inside it, trying not to be noticed.

when somebidy is sneaking it means that they're walking around, maybe searching for something or some information.
