RETURN something borrowed (for a sign)
I'd like to say: Please return anything you borrowed after use to its place
Can I just simply by say it: Please return after use.
Does it also refer to: put it on the original place?
I am talking about a sign, what is the common wording in this case?
Thank you in advance

'Please return after use' sounds fine. It doesn't necessarily mean that the user will put the item back in the place he / she found it. You might say: Please put it back in the same place you found it!' but maybe this is too long for a sign. You might even say: Please return it to the same place after use.
