C -- dangling participle -- we've talked before. I underline or italicize movies, maybe double quotes informally (I'm American.), but it's been a loooooong time since I studied those rules to any degree of familiarity.

In "after seeing the movie ‘Centennial’", the logical subject of "seeing the movie" is PEOPLE which should also be the subject of the main clause, so, the answer should be 'C. many people wanted to read this book'.
