What is the difference between "Hen" and "Chicken"? It might sound a funny question, but I really don't know the difference between both of them. :)))

A hen is an adult female chicken, chicken is the general term for the bird (can be male or female).

hen is an adult female domestic fowl whereas chicken can either mean a hen or a rooster or a meat from these two.
