Is there any difference between symbols " ` " and " ' "? Is there any difference between keyboard symbols " ` " and " ' "? Which one should I use in messages?

Actually, use this one: ' It's a standard apostrophe. The ` is actually a grave accent, and used to mark letters. It's used as a substitute for the apostrophe if the keyboard doesn't have an actual apostrophe. We'll understand what you mean of course, but it's a bit of a giveaway that you don't really know the difference.

Hi, When you want to give a word special emphasis in writing (make it stand out from the rest of the words,) use the quotation mark on either side of the word. For example: I went to the store "and" then I went to school. The single quotation mark is only used for a quotation within a quotation (or to highlight a word within a quotation.) For instance, "Can I come with you to the store 'and' then go with you to school?" The accent mark wouldn't be used unless it was part of the correct spelling of the word. Hope that helps.
