"다행이다~" in english.
(한참 B가 A에게 뭔가를 설명하는 상황)
A : "아~ 이제야 이해 했어요."
B: "다행이다~" "이해해서 다행이다"
(친구와 수다떠는 상황)
A : "어제 차 사고 날뻔 했는데, 안 났어"
B : "다행이다"
how can i say "다행이다" in english in that case. so many friends ask me but i can't answer them clearly.

It means "I'm glad" "I'm relieved" "I got lucky"
"이해해서 다행이다" - "I'm glad you understand it" "I'm relieved you understand what i'm saying"
A : "어제 차 사고 날뻔 했는데, 안 났어" - "I almost got into an accident yesterday but it didn't happen"
B : "다행이다" - "It was a relief." "I got lucky"

I’m glad a car accident didn't happen.
I’m just relieved that a car accident didn't happen.
이런 상황에서 I'm glad 쓰면 되요.
그리고 어떤 이유가 있을 경우에
I am glad that 주어 + 동사
이런 구조로 쓰시면 될거에요.
