Hi, thanks for your comment. I am currently in Beijing and working in basically all-Chinese language-environment except me and some of my Japanese speaking colleagues. I work for a kind of theme park and wondering how to cheer-up staff and I though this method or concept could be useful. However, this word "gamification" seems to be a newly generated word (OS 10.6 even marks a red underline to this word), and my Japanese speaking colleagues don't know what it is. So, I thought using this platform to ask more people in the world gives me better idea. The answers from my friends here seem to be correct. If you are interested, here is a reference; http://www.36kr.com/tag/游戏化 Cheers

This is an interesting subject and I am glad to learn the Mandarin word for it. Most consumer products survive or fail based on what the product can do or how the product is perceived. Converting gaming processes and pleasures into educational, shopping, or other consumer-oriented processes create market -attraction and investor-appeal. All of these processes are valuable in the global technology-oriented economy in general, and in China's economy specifically. Very thought-provoking question :) Sorry to get so talkative :)
