the difference among a Diner, a restaurant, and a cafe.
I am wondering about the difference among a Diner, a restaurant, and a cafe.
They give us the same meaning?
Please help me understand the difference.
Thanks!

A diner is also a type of restaurant that is very casual. A restuarant is typically fancier than a diner. A cafe is usually small, with only a few tables.

Diner is a person who is eating, typically a customer in a restaurant. Restaurant is a place where people go to eat. A Cafe is just another word for restaurant. :) Hope this helps

A quick look on wikipedia (English version) will give you very clear definitions, with pictures. Do a little research if your translator throws up words as synonyms.
