What's the meaning of "That's an oldie but a goodie"

It is an informal expression that means even though something is old it is still very good. Another more formal adjective we use to express the same meaning is "classic".
"That song, 'Here Comes the Sun', by the Beetles is an oldie but a goodie'"
"That song, 'Here Comes the Sun', by the Beetles is a classic."
