Leadership doesn’t require any managerial position to act as a leader. On the other hand, a manager can be a true manager only if he has got the traits of leader in him.

You can answer this on your own by simplifying the words leader and manager. The base word for leader is lead while the base word for manager is manage. Lead vs. manage?
