「あの」と「あのう」の意味は同じですか。
I often "hear" people say "あの"and"あのう" in similar situations,so I wonder whether the two expressions mean the same.

Yes, they two are probably the same meaning, just a pronunciation difference. But to confirm that, the context or video could be necessary.
あの could mean “that” in English. あの人、あの洋服 etc
