CJ's answers are good, maybe I can add a few a little further away, but maybe useful,.............Farrar was clear that he saw nothing wrong with the proposed solutions.....Farrar made it clear that he saw nothing wrong with the proposed solutions..........Farrar made it public that he saw nothing wrong with the proposed solutions.....Farrar voiced that he saw nothing wrong with the proposed solutions.....Farrar went on record that he saw nothing wrong with the proposed solutions......The sentence allows for the possibility that Farrar was lying. This is lost in some translations.
