Do these sentences have the same or similar meaning?
An office building was rising high to the right.
There was a high-rise office building to the right.
If the first sentence is awkward or isn't natural, I'd like to receive some suggestions on how to express the second sentence's meaning.

The first sentence, in my opinion means that the building gets taller when you look at it from left to right.
The second sentence means that to the right of something there is a very tall building with offices.
You have not specified where this building is located. To the right of what was there a high-rise office building located?
