Could you please tell me how to pronouce "Vitamin"? Is it 1. ['vɪtəmɪn] or 2.['vaitəmɪn]?

In the US we generally use the second pronunciation. In the UK I believe the first pronunciation is more common.

It can be pronounced either way. I personally use ['vaitəmɪn] but have heard other native speakers use ['vɪtəmɪn].
