anmari vs amari
Which one of the two is correct:
[amari / anmari] takaku arimasen deshita?
So I don't know which of the two writings is correct.

Amari and anmari are not always interchangeable but in this case, they are both correct. "Amari" sounds more formal, and "anmari" is more casual.
