ederim - dilerim.. What's the difference?
What's the difference between "ederim" and "dilerim"
when we say "teşekkür ederim - özür dilerim"?I know that the question is stupid :p but i mean why don't we say "özür ederim" like "teşekkür ederim"?

Etmek ve dilemek fiili birbirinden iki farkli fiildir.
Dilemek = to say that you hope someone will be lucky/successful, etc
- Sizden ozur dilerim.
- Iyi aksamlar diliyorum.
- Basarilar dilerim.
Etmek = do / make
Rica etmek, yardim etmek, telefon etmek, seyahat etmek.
