Could someone explain this expression to me? "The newly appointed heir apparent of Williams F1 is adamant that under her leadership, the male-dominated motorsport will become fully open and attractive to girls as it is boys." I can't understand the "heir apparent of Williams F1 " part. I've found it in an article of the Telegraph.
