Many prepositions can also be used as adverbs. When in doubt, ask the questions' whom' or 'what' after the word. If there is a noun or a pronoun to answer the question, then the word is a preposition with an object--a prepositional phrase. If there is not a noun or pronoun to answer whom or what, then the word is an adverb.

Transition words are connecting or linking words or phrases that help bring two ideas together. Transitional words and phrases represent one way of gaining coherence. Certain words help continue an idea, indicate a shift of though or contrast, or sum up a conclusion. Check the following list of words to find those that will pull your sentences and paragraphs together.
For example, you can use the transition words below to continue a common line of reasoning in an essay:
consequently
clearly, then
furthermore
additionally
and
in addition
moreover
because
besides that
in the same way
following this further
also
pursuing this further
in the light of the... it is easy to see that

Es una palabra que tanto inglés como español tomaron del latín. Quiere decir "transición".
Además, las frases "I am focus" y "I am confuse" debiesen ser "I am focused" (estoy concentrado) o "I am focusing" (me estoy concentrando) y "I am confused" (estoy confundido).
¿A qué te refieres con palabras de transición?
