what does "더위먹음" means? i know 더위=heat and 먹음=eat but "eating heat" doesn't make any sense.

먹다 라는 동사에는 여러가지 뜻이 있어요. 먹다 has lots of meaning in Korean. 더위를 먹다 means be affected by the heat. 먹다 의 다른 의미로는 나이를 먹다.=get older, get on in years
