We meet for lunch _____ every Friday. A. hourly B. at the same time C. in good time D. up to date Note: I’d normally say “we meet for lunch the same time every Friday” without “at”. The word “at” seems to have changed the meaning of the sentence. I guess my question is: can “at the same time” sometimes be used to mean “the same time”? I hope my question is clear…If it is a YES, then I guess the answer to the question is B. Otherwise, this question may not be doable. What do you think?

You should use the preposition to be correct. Take another example :". My appointment is five o'clock". Do you hear how that sounds without the preposition? You may hear things said that way shortened but sometimes it sounds really awkward.
