How to translate this 'temperamental' ?
Youth means the temperamental predominance of courage over timidity.
How to translate this 'temperamental' ? In my opinion, this word is not necessary.
What's the differences between 'dominance' and 'predominance' ?

"Dominance" and "predominance" are synonyms, but even synonyms carry shades of meaning. We should not second-guess an author, but attempt to understand the choice of words. "Temperamental" here may mean a natural behavior. "Predominance" may carry an emphasis, more important than mere dominance. Writing is art, so take away your own impressions.
