Classifier
Why is it said this way?
"This is the clothes I bought " = 这是我买的衣服 Why isn't the classifier used in this phrase?
It would not be more correct to say 这件是我买的衣服 ??

No, they is a slight difference between these two sentences. 这件是我买的衣服 implies that you only bought a single item of clothing, whereas 这是我买的衣服 could mean you bought either a single item or several items of clothing.
