what is the meaning of this phrase "Be if ever so humble ,there's no place like home."
my tacher told me that there's no place like home is equal to it's good to come home. but I still couln't realize it.

"Be IT ever so humble, there's no place like home."
There are a couple of advanced pieces of grammar here (subjunctive and inversion), but basically it means "As humble as it may be, home is the best place of all." It's a nice reminder of the comfort of home whenever we come home, especially after a long journey.
