what 's the different between s'allonger and se coucher,which one should be used "on the couch"

S ' allonger = devenir plus long
Se coucher = Se mettre au lit
And there are " synonymes " , if i say " je m allonge " means I stretch
So about your question the better one is " i stretch on the couch "
je m allonge sur le canabé / lit ..ect

"s'allonger" et "se coucher" sont tous les deux utilisés pour dire "to lay down"
On utilise plus volontiers "s'allonger" quand c'est bref (la sieste, ou quelques instants de repos) et "se coucher" pour dormir
