Hangul?
Could anyone here please explain what hangul is?

Hangul (or 한글) is the Korean script and alphabet in which the Korean language is written. It is special in that each "block" is an orderly structure in which two or three letters go into. It is not characters like in Chinese. To learn it, this video is incredibly helpful. It's what I used.한글

it's the romanization of the korean word "한글" and it means the korean alphabet;
"han" means great and "gul" means writing ,so literally it means the great writing.
