What is the pronunciaition of "Read"
The teacher told us phrase "Mark as read/unread". He proununced "read" as [ri:d] .
But I think it should be [red].
Who is corrent?

I'm sure you know that read's spelling doesn't change when it's in past tense, even if though it's pronounced differently.
Your correct that in this context 'read' should be pronounced using its past tense form (red) instead of its present tense form (ri:d).
