How do you say elder sister in Chinese language ?
is there any difference between 姐姐 and 姊姊 ??
because when my friend watch the chinese drama she heard the word ''jiejie'' but written like this 姊姊 not 姐姐.
Which one is correct for the elder sister ?

姊姊 and 姐姐 are the same.:)

姐姐 and 姊姊 are both correct.姐姐 is the simplified style of chinese character.姊is the complex style character.

The Chinese usually say 姐(or 姐姐) rather than 姊(or 姊姊) these days. 姊 is mainly used in the word 姊妹, which has the same meaning as 姐妹.
