봐 vs 보아 In another question, I saw two native speakers say that 봐 is a short form of 보아. I know they are both acceptable but I always thought 봐 was the correct form. Similarly, I see 하여 a lot even though I thought plain 해 was the correct form. Is it just a matter of usage? I mean, the original form is 보아 or 하여, but over time, it's easier to say/write 봐 and 해 so those have become the norm.

You're right.:) "보아" or "하여" is only used to explain where "봐" or "해" comes from in terms of grammar, sometimes "보아(요)" is used in a humorous way though. :) \^o^/
