Guys, I'm looking for a book for improving speed reading in English.
When I was studing English in a special school, we did a lot of exercises from this book every lesson. Unfortuately, teachers gave us just copies and I don't remeber the name. I was looking everywhere on the intenet but I haven't found anything!

Being a native speaker, this is not the sort of thing we did in School. Perhaps someone who learned English as a second language can help.
But even among native speakers, there are slow readers and fast readers. In my experience, the difference is practice. I have read many big books, which really helped be practice speed reading. But I think the reason i read quickly is that I stopped saying the words to myself. If you can read without verbalizing the words, you can go a lot faster.
Perhaps there are also some apps for your telephone that can help improve your word recognition.
Did you know that native English speakers can read fluently even if all the letters are mixed up, except for the first and last letter of the word? here's a famous example
Aoccdrnig to a rscheearch at Cmabridge uinervtisy, it deosn't mttaer in waht oredr the ltteers in a wrod are, the olny iprmoatnt tihng is taht frist and lsat ltteer is at the rghit pclae. The rset can be a toatl mses and you can sitll raed it wouthit porbelm. Tihs is bcuseae we do not raed ervey lteter by it slef but the wrod as a wlohe.
