There is no difference in the Chinese language between Taiwan and China; the only difference is that Taiwan uses Traditional Characters and China uses Simplified Characters. Of course, there are a difference in dialects between the two as well. For example, in China, there is Shanghainese; in Taiwan, there is Taiwanese..both variants of the standard Chinese language (普通話).
