Einer oder Ein?
Hallo Liebe Leute!
Ich kann nicht diesen Ausdruck verstehen: "Er ist einer der größten Autoren."
Ich glaube, es sollte "Er ist ein der größten Autoren" sein. Ich kann das nicht verstehen. Können Sie mir erklären, warum man "einer" statt "ein" benutzt?

Ein is a determiner and needs a noun
Einer is a pronoun and can stand alone.
so in the phrase 'der größten Autoren' can be translated as 'of the great authors' and functions as an of-phrase to qualify the pronoun.

"ein" ist der unbestimmte Artikel und steht immer mit einem Nomen.
Hier steht nicht der Artikel sondern das (Indefinit)pronomen, und das ist nicht "ein" sondern "einer" im Nominativ maskulin.
