what does "pin"mean? in wrestling, some tough guy bouncing opponents around or pinning someone to the mat was irresistible.

It is a term in wrestling and applies when a wrestler holds down his opponent on the floor so that both his (the opponent's) shoulders remain touching the floor for a count of three.
