the meaning of " your name is safe in their mouth."
In below quote, I couldn't understand the last sentence meaning;
“When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different. You know that your name is safe in their mouth.”
I think I couldn't understand the meaning completely.
Thanks

As far as I can understand it, a person who loves you will not speak badly of you to other people, nor will he/she insult you directly. So whenever that person says your name, it's always in a loving manner.

I've never, ever heard this, but I would think it means you can trust them.

The name is "safe" in their mouth - meaning that the name is comfortable in their mouth, they feel comfortable saying it. Not safe in the literal sense, but in a poetic sense.
