I think you mean "partita" and "partito"
partida de fútbol -> "partita di calcio", or "incontro di calcio"
partida de ajedrez -> "partita di scacchi"
partito = faction, party. And also the past participle of the verb "partire" (leave, depart)
partita = match, game. And also the past participle of the verb "partire" but in feminine inflect
About the past participle:
Marco è partito ieri.
Silvia è partita ieri.
