How do you say love to someone in Japanese? How do you say love to someone in Japanese? Some people tell me, "I love you" in Japanese is "あいしてる". But when I watch Japanese drama, when someone (Aさん) express his/her love to the other (B さん), I hear something like: "Bさん、Bさんのことがすきです。” As far as I know, the verb "love" in Japanese is: "愛する”, so do you have this sentences in Japanese: " Bさんを愛します。”? "Bさん、Bさんのことがすきです。” and " Bさんを愛します。”、どうちがいますか? Thanks in advance :)

It is more common to use "daisuki" more than "aishiteru." But both are okay.
